House of Yahweh

On November 1st, 2016 HOY celebrated 34 years of providing food, clothing and shelter to “the dear neighbor”.  This achievement doesn’t just happen.  It takes the on-going service of lots of people working together who hear and respond to God’s invitation-- “Come Help My Poor”. People takes many forms--individuals, churches, schools, corporations, small businesses, super markets, restaurants, philanthropic groups, clubs, etc.  Because of you people, in 2014 HOY provided 94,829 persons with food, clothing and shelter through our different programs.  Demand for these basic necessities has grown by 34% this past year.

A Message from Sister Michele Morris, Executive Director

The driving force that makes the House of Yahweh successful is LOVE.

One act of kindness done out of love is eternal.

Without love -- acts, no matter how good, are just that – acts.

Thank you for supporting HOY with your loving acts of kindness these past 34 years!
